Lillie comes to Ensignsgrace from the Grunden Ranch in NE, and we are THRILLED to have her! We have long admired Harlan and Tammy Grunden's RG Stuart Monarch, her sire (16h [barefoot] Bay stallion) and she is out of their lovely RG Cafalillie, who herself is 15+h and is a Teton Black Lillie daughter. We had visited the Neely Ranch (Teton Morgans) years ago and have always admired their breeding program. We think Lillie combines the best of Funquest lines (from both Monarch and Cafallilie) with outcrosses to Tetonia and Caduceus Denver/Rimlo Lack Valiant from her other two granddam's sides. Monarch's mom has horses on her pedigree like Topside Sable, Lovely Paintbrush and Chief Justin Morgan. Monarch's Black Lillie should mature to over 15h, and she will be a valuable asset to our broodmare herd! Thank you SO much Harlan and Tammy for sharing this wonderful filly with us! We know she will LOVE playing with our filly from this year, Ensigns Amazing Grace (our palomino filly)!
